When You Are Having a Mental Health Crisis

 

If you feel you or a loved one of any age are having a mental health crisis and need immediate service:

  1. If you have a mental health worker call them
  2. If you have a family doctor, call them (during office hours)
  3. Call the Crisis Line 250-763-9191 or the Suicide Line 1-800-784-2433
  4. If you have taken poison or overdosed, call 1-800-567-8911
  5. Call HealthLinkBC at 811  (Deaf/hearing impaired: 711)
  6. Call 911 - ask for an ambulance or police to assist you to get to the hospital
  7. Go directly to the Emergency Department of the Kelowna General Hospital - 2268 Pandosy Street - let them know what symptoms you are experiencing
